Surisoft provides services on either (1) a fixed-fee basis with payment milestones plus charges for change orders or (2) at a fixed hourly rate which depends on the experience of the developers assigned to a project. Expenses for travel are billed to our clients and depend on the nature, size, and other aspects of the project being addressed.

Methodology

Surisoft utilizes a flexible development methodology that is customized based on project size. For our largest projects, the following phases are typical.

Discovery - Surisoft works closely with clients to understand their immediate and long-term goals, the competitive landscape of the target market, and existing operational and technical environments. Acting as partners, business objectives are agreed upon and then a strategic plan of action is created. The strategic plan establishes the project scope, a budget, a detailed work plan, and progress assessment guidelines.

Architecture - What tools provide the best solution? Who will use it and how? What features should be provided? How will it operate? What will it look like? Once the strategic plan is in place, these are the types of questions that must be answered as the functional, technical, and creative requirements are developed for the project. These requirements will be carefully documented and refined. 

Design - After the architectural phase is completed, any remaining ambiguous areas of the system are prototyped and final project design decisions made.

Implementation - Surisoft can now proceed to build the final software product. This phase is divided into milestones representing the completion of functional modules that will be delivered to clients for evaluation, comments, and possible change orders.

Testing - Testing is performed at our development center at every milestone. We subject the product to extensive functionality, stress, and load testing to help insure a high quality and reliable final version.

Deployment - When the final version is delivered, Surisoft will also provide complete documentation if desired.

Enhancement - For an agreed upon period after launch, Surisoft will monitor and analyze how the product performs against the success criteria defined in the discovery phase. Also, during this period, the development team will be available to quickly address any development issues that might arise unexpectedly. Finally, clients can elect to have one or more members from their product development team join their organization as permanent employees for ongoing enhancement and support of your product.
